"Settle down Nick, if they down have one here, we can always go into town.." Aliwa hissed at the ferret who was stirring obnoxiously in her hood. She climbed up a tree and carefully crawled out onto one of the thick branches to get a better look of the layout. It wasnt perfect, and it didnt show what she was looking for.
"Nick, climb up higher and see if you can spot it." She whispered. The clever little ferret squeaked and climbed up to a higher branch to look out. Aliwa looked up at him in high hopes. Nick yelped twice down at her and fell down onto her back. In her frustration, Aliwa slammed her fist down on the old branch. There was a loud crack and Aliwa felt the branch snap underneath her. She gasped, but before she had time to turn around and hold on to another branch, she plumeted to the ground in a heap of sticks, twigs, and leaves. She growned and looked around propping herself up with her arms. Where's Nick? She wondered.
"Nick?" She called looking franticly around. The ferret poked his head out of a pile of leaves and shook his chocolatey brown fur. "You alright?" She asked. The ferret squeaked. "Good." She rolled up her pant legs to the point where two massive bruises were forming. "Just our luck huh?" She said trying to keep their spirits bright. She rolled her pant legs down again and offered her hand to the little ferret who happily crawled up her arm.
Aliwa examined the branch and stood up. Thats enough climbing for me today. She started walking away from the trees and noticed a gathering of more people. What are they doing there? She walked out into the field to investigate what was going on..
