"Well my friend, if you are hungry, then you shall get food!" Shahin said, leaning on his friend, Fahim. "And what better place to get some food than the Golden Lantern? It's about time we get some good eats. Last time I was here was when you were banished or whatever that stupid thing was." Shahin flicked his wrist around lazily as he explained, obviously not taking much interest in the subject. Soon, the two assassins arrived at said inn, and the shorter of the two opened the door to enter.

Shahin walked up to the hostess. "Alright, we need a table. We're with Sire. Put it on his tab for me, would ya sweetie?" He gave her a quick wink with confidence. The girl in response rolled her eyes and then hesitantly led them to a different room. It was smaller than the previous one Shahin went to, but it was still nice. Why didn't I think of coming here before? Nice eats, and Sire's payin'... The women they were following stopped at a small table, it could probably seat four, but for now there were only two plates set out.

"If you would..." She said timidly, motioning to the table. Shahin eagerly took his seat, a big stupid grin spread across his face. "Excuse me." The girl bowed and then left to go back to her post.

"Man, I can't wait to try some of this stuff! I mean," Shahin started to glare mockingly at his friend from across the table, "last time I was here I used all my food to give to you. So I didn't get to try any!" A suspicious tone rose to his voice as he narrowed his eyes. "Was it any good, or is it all talk..." Food was a serious business to Shahin and he wanted to hear some positive feedback. "It better be bitchin' good, I KNOW it will even taste twice as good since I know Sire will be paying for us." He chuckled darkly under his breath.

A few minutes later, a waitress approached their table, she handed the two assassins a slip of paper that made up the menu. Shahin nearly snatched it out of her hands and didn't even bother to look up to greet her. "Um, today the chef is making a whale fin soup, a specialty from Asia. I would highly recommend it, and-" Shahin tuned her out and tried to read the fancy French words scribbled across the small paper. His tongue poked out and his brows furrowed from frustration. "So if I can get you some beverages, what would you gentlemen like?" She asked, taking out a small pad.

"Hey, now what, what is this 'BONKapdeli, fish' thing here?" Shahin asked loudly, jabbing his finger on one of the items on the menu. He looked up at the waitress and gasped. Holy shit it's Bella-girl!!1 His shock quickly turned to irritation, even though the girl was smiling sweetly at him. This is the succubus that is trying to steal Fahim away from me...she must be destroyed. "Fahim what is Bella-girl doing here?" He asked the other assassin flatly, ignoring the girl completely. His eyes were narrowed into slits and he was waiting an explanation. He just KNEW this was probably some elaborate scheme of Fahim's to score another chance to spend time with Bella-girl.

Annabelle looked from the Egyptian to Fahim. She didn't know who the blue-haired man was, but she DID know Fahim, and the other man's glaring was making her uncomfortable. She leaned towards Fahim, and cupped her hand to whisper into Fahim's ear. She noticed the other man's eyes widen and his anger seemed to double, but she ignored it for now. "Fahim, who is that man, and erm...Bella-girl?" She asked uncomfortably, unsure of how to react.

"Eh-heh..." Fahim smiled and attempted a laugh. It didn't make anything better. Why was his face so hot? Was he sweating? Why was there a lump on his throat? Fahim sighed and looked at Bella, he smiled awkwardly and turned to Shahin. Why is he glaring like that? Fahim gave a confused look to his friend, trying to get the point across.

"This is my associate, Shahin, and don't worry, its just... his... thing... Don't worry about it," Fahim smiled evilly as he waved off his friend. He was still looking at Shahin as he spoke.

"Oh..." Bella was unsure of what was going on. There seemed to be a lot more going on. She was a little unsure what to think of Fahim. He seemed friendly enough, but the Arab was as shy as she was, and not much had ever really happened. Truth be told all she knew about him was that he liked her, he liked to read, and he wore the robes from the monastery out side of town. "Well, um could I get you anything?" She looked at Fahim.

"Uh, yeah, thank you... can I just have... um, whatever that fish was Shahin ordered." Fahim turned to smile at Bella.

"Mhmm," Bella bit her lip and wrote down the order, "Well I'll get that to you soon." She turned to walk away.

"Oh!" Fahim spoke up a little, "When do you... stop working? We could stick around for a while..."

Bella blushed and turned around, "Well I normally go home in about a candle mark, you know, not long after the sun sets completely." She smiled, "I'll get your food now..."

Shahin's eye twitched suddenly at Fahim's proposal. WHAT?!? Shahin had to use every drop of will power not to flip over the table his fingernails were currently carving rivets into. Each word Fahim and Bella-girl exchanged, Shahin wanted to slam his head into the table, possibly knocking him out so he didn't have to watch as his friend gets the soul sucked out of him.

Bella-girl was about to leave when she suddenly turn back around, her notepad still rasied cheerily. "Oh, I almost forgot to take your order for drinks!" She giggled lightly, which made Shahin let out a noise that sounded like a frog getting ran over by a carriage. She looked over at Shahin confused, wondering what was wrong with Fahim's friend. Shahin just dropped his head onto the table and shook his head viciously against the surface. A quiet moan was the only thing that escaped from his throat.

The girl turned back to Fahim nervously. "So would you like-"

"NNnnnggg..." Shahin mumbled, rubbing his face against the table.

Annabella blinked and stared at him before slowly turning back to Fahim. "Would you-"

"Drrrg, kelllmngngoow..." Shahin let out a pained groan every time Bella-girl started speaking. It caused the girl and Fahim both frustration.

"I'll just get you some water..." She whispered behind her notepad. Fahim just nodded weakly and she turned on her heel to retreat back to the kitchens.

Once she was gone from the room, Shahin's head shot up and his face was totes cereal. He was in a mood for srs bsns! "FFF! What are you doing?!" He hissed, his yellow eyes were burning with more insanity than usual. "Is hangin' out with JUST me not good enough for you anymore?!" He leaned back into his chair roughly, blinking hardly as he waited for Fahim's explanation.

Fahim's stomach was knotted, this whole situation was awkward enough! He unclenched his sweaty hands and looked across the table. "I didn't know she worked here, I swear!" Fahim hissed a wisper, "Please don't make this worse..." He pleaded, "liston, I promise we will have tea and scones later if you behave."

"You're my best friend, and she's not going to change that. Remember, you have an edge..." Fahim was a little more relaxed, and he gave Shahin a smile, "she's not an assassin... when I'm in the monastary, you have me all to yourself."

((yeh... been a while. Smile i laughed when i typed the last line Razz))

"Aw, Fahiiim," Shahin batted is eyes and hunched his shoulders. His voice was a tone or two short of being a little girls. "You make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside." His face suddenly fell, showing that he wasn't amused. "I know you're just trying to sweet talk me into keeping off of yours and Waitress's little love affair." Bella-girl needs a new nickname. He thought. It's getting to 'pet-sy' for Fahim and he keeps using it instead of her real name...

Shahin leaned forward over the table and jabbed a finger at Fahim. "I'm going to be watching you, and I WILL have you all to myself!!" Shahin ignored the scattered glances his table was starting to receive. "And you're damn right I will be making scones! You will eat them, and you WILL LOVE THEM!!" Shahin narrowed his eyes at Fahim until Annabelle came back with their drinks. She placed the glasses on the table silently and gave Fahim a small smile before turning around and returning to the kitchen. Shahin just mouthed, 'I'm watching you' at Fahim when her back was turned. Gingerly, he picked up the glass Waitress left in front of him and brought it to his face. He held it a good two inches from his nose and sniffed it twice. You can never be sure if some one's gonna poison you... He thought as he pursed his lips.

"Oh you," Fahim held in a laugh barely long enough to bat his eyes dramaticly.

"Lets not talk about your cooking, we're about to eat." Fahim smirked, he had helped make those god awful scones, but he hoped to distract Shahin from his Bella fixation.

Fahim grew silent as Bella approached. He smiled and accepted his drink with a nod. "Thank you..." He managed as she walked away, it was doubtful she heard anything. Blushing deeply, he turned back to Shahin. "What?" He asked, daring the Egyptian to say anything.

Shahin crossed his arms and huffed. "Nothing..." He made a kissy face once Bella walked away. "You so want her and it's soooo obvious that it makes ME look pathetic just being with you." Shahin growled. He slammed his water glass down on the table, he really wasn't that thirsty right now. Shahin tapped his fingers on his arm, Wait...what did I order...? Did I even order any food?? I am not surprised that you forgot... GAH! I hadn't heard from YOU in a while. I thought you crawled into some alleyway and died. I'm hungry and I FEEL LIKE SOMETHING ASIAN!! I shoulda' got that DAMN WHALE SOUP!! Shahin's inner self fumed, hoping that he ordered something with fish in it.

"Anywaaaays...Fahim." Shahin delicately picked up on of the utensils laid out in front of him, it was a spoon. "How far exactly would you plan on actually taking a relationship?" He asked, eyes narrowing. Without moving his gaze, he placed the spoon onto his nose and let it stick there. He kept his questioning glare at Fahim, kind of failing for trying to come off as intimidating. Things distracted Shahin easily if he wasn't focused, and he had to keep his hands occupied by playing with random things. KEEP YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER BOY!! It already lives there though... He thought hopelessly, letting out an exhausted sigh.

"As far as I can.. well nothing has even happened yet. I don't even know what to do next." Fahim thought for a moment, "Not that I need any advice." He added hastily. Shahin was the last person he needed help from.

"Ugh," He groaned, "its getting late the food will be here any second, and she'll be back." Fahim wasn't sure why, but he felt as though he didn't want to talk to Bella. Bleh this is so stupid I'm just nervous...

((These are getting too short...))

Jett was in a good mood tonight. he had just joined the brotherhood and was headed to the Golden Lantern for some food. A hooded woman in the sanctuary mentioned this place to him. As he entered the tavern he noticed a lot of people inside. The hostess was standing next to the door. He turned and looked at her.

"Got a another room thats quieter?", he asked.

"Yes sir, its this way.", she replied.

"show me", he said.

He Followed her to a door at the back of the tavern. She opened the door and closed it behind him. Jett looked around the small room. it was well furnished and there was an empty table across from him. he noticed two younger men sitting at a table in the corner to his right talking to each other. Just then, a woman carrying two dishes entered the room. Jett looked at her body "not bad for a waitress". as she walked past him he coped a feel. She yelped in response causing both plates to come crashing to the floor with a loud crash.

"Be more careful next time " he said with a grin.

He walked over to an empty table and sat down. He motioned another waitress for a mug of ale, as he looked at his menu. (Hope that got things moving for ya guys. your move)

Shahin rolled his eyes and took the spoon off his nose, "No, that's not what I meant. I MEAN, if you ever DO get into a relationship...how far would you take it?" His eyes glinted in the dimly lit room. It was like he was testing Fahim to say the right answer. He leaned forward a little over the table, arms still crossed. "Marriage? ...Kiiiids? Hmmm?" Everyone in the Brotherhood knew that some of the older assassins had families of their own in the village. But it was a risk as well as a blessing. Not only did you have to spend great amounts of time away from them, but they could be hunted down by enemies and used against the assassin. Shahin raised an eyebrow at Fahim. Wow, that's weird...imagining Fahim with kids...even just being married! Shahin didn't think he himself would have a solid enough foundation to ever settle down.

A loud crash was heard from behind the assassins and Shahin whipped around immediately; his hand poised over a knife he had hidden on his belt. He relaxed however when he saw it was just Waitress who dropped some dishes. He looked down at the floor and nearly choked when he realized that it was HIS food on the ground! (and also Fahim's food, buuut that didn't really concern Shahin as much).

Bella-girl was shocked beyond belief, after she lose balance of Shahin and Fahim's food, she dropped immediately to her knees to quickly clean it up. Her cheeks were red with embarrassment and anger. She shot the rude stranger a glare before started to wipe food splatters all over her dress. She sniffed and held back tears. How could someone be such a cad? The pieces of plate clattered together as she gathered them in her apron.

Shahin stood up abruptly from his chair and prepared to degrade Waitress with a few choice phrases when his eye caught the cause of the disaster. Shahin's gaze sharpened, it was another assassin from the Brotherhood... I haven't seen him before...He must be new. Shahin's eyes narrowed and a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.

This guy is HUUUUGE!! He thought impressed. In fact, he was probably the complete opposite of Shahin himself. While the Egyptian was skinny and rather small, this guy looked like a giant! His arms were thick and his chest was wide; this guy was jacked! Shahin studied him for a while longer, still standing from his table. A quick glance at this assassin and Shahin could tell that he probably preferred raw power over stealth and sneakiness. How very different indeed... What do you think? Should we grace him with our presence? Shahin cracked his neck and looked at Fahim. "How about we give him a little visit?" He prompted, not really sticking around for Fahim's response. No doubt he's just going to help Waitress... He thought disgraced. Already he's getting sucked in...

Shahin didn't stop walking until he reached the new arrival's table. The huge assassin was looking at his menu and didn't seem to notice Shahin. The Egyptian wasn't put off in the slightest. He placed his hand down on the table and leaned on his arm. "You know, if you want to be that much of a scumbag I'd recommend the Hidden Badger. This place is for more...'professional' patrons." He said, under-laying a double meaning to the sentence. Shahin had a smirk on his face that shouldn't be trusted.

Fahim smiled and averted his eyes as he prepared to answer his friend. Moments later the arab jolted as a crash resounded through the room, he shifted to look past Shahin. Fahim was half out of his seat as he began to take in the scene in front of him.

The first thing he noticed was a huge man taking his seat, only a few feat away from an upset looking Bella girl. Fahim's eyes flashed when he noticed the mounds of food and broken plates surrounding her. Shahin had a head start and was already walking past Bella as Fahim made his way over. He knelt down and looked at her, "Are you alright?"

"Yes, yes I'm fine," She sounded upset and frustrated, but Fahim noticed her cheeks were burning scarlet.

"Here," Fahim gently grabbed Bella's arm, and helped her up, most of the mess still crowded around their feet. Fahim paused for a moment, "...ok," He nodded, turned, and made his way to the table where the new comer sat.

Holy god this guy is is huge...
Fahim walked around, behind the mans chair, he noted the assassin robes and sighed inwardly ... just what I need... Whether he truly did not notice Fahim or he was just ignoring him, the big man had not yet moved.

Steaming with anger, Fahim slipped a small throwing knife from his pocket and pressed it against the small of the man's back. He shifted, to block any view of his knife, with the rest of his body.

Fahim knew that if it came to a fight, which he almost hoped it would, this man would destroy him in such close quarters. He decided it was best to make the first move. "Who the hell are you and what are you doing here?" Fahim hissed into the man's ear, trying to no make as much of a scene as knocking over a barmaid would. Fahim pushed a little harder on the knife to make sure the big man felt it. He gave the appearance of merely leaning on the mans shoulder.

((Hey I hope that was ok with you, if you want a little more control over the situation just message me and I'll change it Razz thanks for coming Very Happy))

Jett looked over the menu. all the food on it sounded good. But in the end he chose the whale soup. he heard some one walk up to his table and felt him lean on the table.

"You know, if you want to be that much of a scumbag I'd recommend the Hidden Badger. This place is for more...'professional' patrons." said Shahin.

" Because i wasn't looking to beat up a bunch of scumbags, I'm looking for the professionals." He replied sharply. He looked Shahin in the eyes with malice. Jett then felt cold steel press against his back. It felt like a dagger but was much finer, thinner in fact. It was a throwing knife if he had to guess. He had lost count of how many times he'd had one lodged in his back.

"Who the hell are you and what are you doing here?" said Fahim.

Sneaky but predictable Jett thought to himself. Jett casually set the menu down on the table. Then with a quick spinning motion he turned in his chair and toppled the table on the Egyptian with his left hand. The quick turn of the chair had pinned Fahims hand between the wall and the chair. Jett held Fahim by the throat tightly.

"The names Jett" He said loudly. " I'll do what ever i damn well please"

The huge mammoth of a man flipped the table over. Once the man had spun around his chair, Shahin knew what to do. He easily swerved out from the direction the table he'd been leaning on. It clattered to the floor and he looked at it with a raised eyebrow. Shahin was amused, he was standing to the side with his arms crossed, watching. How very droll... His face was painted with a smug look. He's too slow to think he can even touch me. He thought cockily. He watched as the man pinned Fahim, he observed the holds he had on his friend. Shahin wasn't too worried. This man was a newbie assassin. He could think of a couple ways Fahim could free himself.

The tattooed assassin walked calmly around Jett. "A assassin should know when to control himself. Sire would not be pleased at your behavior..." Like I care what SIRE thinks... Shahin thought the threat might change the behavior of this...giant. But he sort of doubted it. It's not like I was even attacking him! What is UP this guys pants? Shahin thought, rolling his eyes. Why are all of the brothers always attacking each other?

Fahim brought his small knife down as he felt the big man move beneath him. The blade barely penetrated the mans thick assassin robes, but he felt as though he had made a good cut along the huge man's back. Still, the man continued as though he had felt nothing. Fahim felt himself hit the wall, and instinctively closed his eyes on the impact. The Arab managed to keep hold of the knife even as his hand was pinned by the chair.

Fahim bunched up the muscles in his neck in a vain attempt to keep his airway open even as the other man tightened his grip. The Arab reacted quickly. His eyes snapped open and even as he pushed to free his right arm, his left hand dropped to the folds of his cloak where he slid his long knife from a sheath on his belt. The brute had forgotten to deal with both of my arms... Fahim thought to himself. The arab jabbed the long knife hard against the man's stomach, not hard enough to draw blood, but hard enough to show he was ending this.

"Put me down now, or this will be the last cut you ever get." Fahim murmured, trying to sound in control, and to ignore his fleeting air supply.

The man's body was enough to block view of the knife from the rest of the tavern's patrons, but the fight was obviously the center of attention. Bella had taken a few steps forward, and she was obviously in distress, other than that, no one else moved.

Jett was amazed at how quick they were. Jett was fast, but they were insanely fast. This was what Jett wanted to see. These men weren't intimidated by his size nor his threats. He liked to know the men he would some day be working with weren't a bunch of sissy's in robes. Now he knew that joining the Brotherhood was the right choice.

"Put me down now, or this will be the last cut you ever get." Fahim murmured.

He noticed Fahim take a quick glance at the waitress. Slowly things began to connect. Now he realized why they had confronted him so quickly. The waitress was obviously a friend of theirs or maybe a lover? now he knew why the other assassin had not attacked him. This conflict had become much more personal to the man holding the knife.

"For such a professional you shouldn't let your personal feelings get in the way." Jett said letting go of Fahims neck." you two have names?"
