Fahim sat in the corner of the bar, not speaking, not looking at anyone. He merely sat, listoning to the conversations of those around him. His eyes were closed and he showed no emotion, but he was glad to finally not feel so alone. It had been a few days since he was suspended from the Brotherhood, in the last few, Fahim had spent all his time in the woods. He was determined to do his best for Sire when he returned, so he had trained everyday in the forest.

He also trained to combat the boredom that over took his daily life. Climbing trees, push ups, and chin ups on a low branch, occupied much of his time. Since he had no equipment or weapons to train with, strength exercises were all he could do.

On his second day, Fahim started to forage for food. Edible herbs were hard to come by, and seeing as he did not know of too many, he quickly depleted most of the food around him.

After quite a few attempts Fahim had learned to hunt the small game around his camp.

He still had no money for food, but Fahim decided to visit the bar, just to be around people, he still looked over his shoulder for anyone who may be following him.

After a half hour or so of questioning villagers, Shahin and Caine had decided to check the Hidden Badger. An older women had described someone fitting his description that was hanging out at the bar after hours.

While Caine and Shahin were sneaking around the village, they also figured out they weren't alone. About five minutes after they left the Golden Lantern, Shahin had spotted Shilo sneaking around behind them.

After some quick interrogation, it turns out Shilo wanted to see where they were going. Shahin decided that he could come along to find Fahim, and perhaps it would even benefit him! Fahim would be able to pair up in the completion!

Now that they were in front of the Hidden Badger, Shahin made the first step to entering the building, the two other assassins following him closely. They had made sure that their hoods were up so they would look like just a couple of monks from the monastery. Scanning the crowded room made the Egyptian pleased, with more people here, the less suspicious they would be.

Spotting Fahim in the back of the room sitting at an empty table was easy enough. Suddenly Shahin felt adrenaline leak into his veins, it may have only been a few days, but Shahin sure did miss Fahim! Looking at the banished assassin was a little sad, and Shahin frowned at this. Without his standard assassin gear on, he looked simply...lost.

Not dwelling on the matter, Shahin led the other two assassins towards Fahim's table. They didn't know what he looked like since this was the first time they were meeting him. What an experience this will be... he mused as he approached the banished assassin. He stopped right next to him and poked him in the side of the head roughly while saying, "Hey buuuuuddy, ya miss me?" He grinned down at Fahim before taking a seat across from him, Shilo took the seat to Shahin's left.

((Shilo told me that he can only get on a computer over the weekends, so I promised to keep him following us around! 8D))

Caine loomed over Shahin and looked down to discover the man know as “Fahim.” What perplexed Caine is that this man looked nothing like an assassin (No robes, weapons, or assassin’s gear). Was this person really an assassin? Caine looked back to Shahin for reassurance, but he was already taking out the food. It then clicked, Fahim was the banished assassin. Caine sat down to the table to mull this concept over, it certainly made sense. Caine then peered over towards Fahim as if to analyze him.

He was still curious as of what they did to get him banished, but pushed the thought away. None of that mattered now; Fahim was a brother and a part of Eagle Feather. He knew that the green-eyed Arab had much experience and had been through a lot. Without further hesitation, Caine introduced him self. “My name is Caine Liandri, it is nice to finally meet you Fahim.”

Fahim looked up at the sound of his friends voice. It took him a few seconds, but he smiled and playfully swatted Shahin's hand away. "Hey! You have know idea how glad I am to see you! I've been alone all week! Ugh, I'm so hungry, that better be food under your cloak, either that or a change of clothes!" Fahim laughed. "You have no idea how hard hunting rabbits are! It took me almost a day to catch my first one, I've gotten better, but it still takes forever, and I only managed to catch 2 more, and then i had to learn to start a fire... well I didnt really learn, I just stole a torch off the side of the inn." Fahim laughed, actually, he was pretty proud of himself for thinking of that, "I think its clear, I'm not an outdoorsman!"

Fahim smiled broadly at his friend, hoping to see what he had brought, but then he looked past Shahin to see two people in assassin's robes edging closer to the table. One introduced themselves as Caine. Fahim said nothing, but looked into the mans eyes for a second, locking the striking icy eyes, with his own green ones.

"Uh, who are they?" Fahim whispered to his friend, still examining the two.

Shahin let out a little laugh and grinned widely at Fahim, "Oh! These are some of the newbies!" He said jerking a thumb in their general direction. Pah...you can't even call them newbies. You're the same rank as them! "I hope you don't mind me bringing some extra company." He said winking playfully. "One for me and one for you, right?" A devious smirk inched its way to the Egyptians face. Ah yes...Fahim still doesn't know of Maximilian and the other initiates that we're going to be facing...Ah well! I'll just tell him later after hes eaten. Oh! Wait...Sire said that we can't tell Fahim about anything that's involved with the Brotherhood...Oh well! Screw Sire! Since when did I ever listen to him? He then pointed towards the two assassins, "The one with the freaky eyes is Caine, the one who already introduced himself a, he's in Eagle Feather like us. And the other one with the blue eyes is Shilo, or William, I'm not sure." He said flicking his wrist to the air. Shilo gave a quick nod towards Fahim.

Shahin slapped his hand on the table and gave Fahim a 'really??' kind of look. "Man, seriously? I always thought you would like hangin' out with nature! Ya know, all that nice wind that would always blowing around you..." He hinted towards Fahim smiling. "Anyways..." he drawled, "Do you seriously need new clothes? Wow, that's rough!" He whistled and leaned back in his chair. Right when he was sure Fahim was about to strangle him, he pulled out the makeshift bag of food from under his cloak. He saw Fahim's eyes light up as Shahin tossed it lazily onto the table.

"I managed to nick this from the kitchens at the inn." He raised an eyebrow amusingly at the banished assassin across from him, "It's real high quality stuff I'll have you know." He looked away uninterestedly at his fingernails. "I'll expect groveling annnnny moment now." He joked, looking as if he was king of the world.

"Good," Fahim talked through mouth fulls, "Keep on expecting some, but anyway thanks for the food, no matter how little there is." Fahim looked up and smiled, lightheartedly at his friend. "And by the way, nature is not all dramatic wind and friendly rabbits," Fahim smiled as he thought of his barely cooked meals over the last few days. "I would prefer to see nature from behind the library window, or maybe I could just read about it..."

Fahim looked back at the other two assassins, "Ooh," He said sarcasticly, "I'm the last person you want to be seen talking to. Since you're new you might not know it yet, but I have been SUSPENDED!" Fahim said the last word with a sarcastically evil note to it. "You guys could end up like me if you let Shahin lead you everywhere, in fact I bet he didn't even warn you about the dangers of meeting one such as me." Fahim said this more for Shahin's reaction, then for the benefit of the 'newbies'. He actually had little interest in getting to know them at the moment, but he would take all the human interaction he could get.

Caine raised an eyebrow to the freaky eyes comment, but returned his attention to Fahim. He knew the consequences of meeting with someone who had been banished, but that was the least of his problems at the moment. Caine Was Starving! He quickly swiped some food and began to eat ravenously. “The way I see it,” Caine murmured. ”As long as we don’t give you any information, nothing bad’ll happen.” “Besides, you’re only suspended for a week, right?”

Fahim stopped eating and dramatically looked up, staring at Caine as he ate. He clicked his tongue, "And i was just begining to like you..." Fahim smiled the other assassin. Maybe I could get along with others, time to drop Shahin! Fahim laughed to himself.

Shahin shook his head at the surrounding assassins' behavior, it was like he was taking care of a bunch of kids! He couldn't help but laugh quietly to himself. It was like he was the mommy lion bringing back a zebra to the cubs and they were fighting over it. Except for Shilo of course, he was the only one who was acting behaved. Shahin rested his chin on the back of his propped wrist and glanced at the Scot, who was asking Fahim politely for food instead of grabbing it without permission. Shahin felt like patting him on the head like a well-trained dog However, Shahin easily restrained himself, used to normally suppressing his acts and emotions around strangers.

He was distracted when his own stomach started growling, he ignored it. He would rather let the others eat, especially Fahim, Shahin could always just sneak into the Dining Hall after hours and steal some sort of nourishment. After a moment, he looked towards Caine, "Well listen," he started towards Caine, who gave him a glance of acknowledgment (he couldn't properly speak since there was food in his mouth) before continuing to eat Fahim's food, "I AM going to be telling Fahim about the competition, soooo if you don't feel like disobeying Sire's orders..." he narrowed his eyes, "you can leave after you've eaten. You however!" He said louder, turning to Shilo. "You have to stay here, if you catch my drift."

Fahim had resumed eating, but at Shahin's words, he looked up. "And what is it you shouldn't be saying? And don't leave, Caine, no one is going to tell on you, we're all friends here. By the way, what groups are you two in?"

Shahin banged his head on the table. "Fahim! I told you where Caine has been placed already, Eagle Feather! And Shilo is in White Rose. And speaking of Shilo, I need to ask you to be his partner. The whole partner things is the weird competition thing that Sire and his other 'almighty' friend are hosting. They're battling the initiates against each other," He said flatly. "It's like they were bored one day and was like, 'Oh! How bout we battle our newbz against each other and see who's still alive!' Ha ha, ha...." He drowned out the last bit.

"Ok! So, for some reason we need partners and Caine's already mine," he said pointing to the white-eyed assassin while giving Fahim a semi-apologetic look. "So yeah. That's about it...Oh! And I'm here to give ya some food, so yeah, that too." He said gesturing to the now almost empty cloth on the table.

Fahim looked up," just because you said something doesn't mean I was listening." He smiled, eager to impress the other two. He was really beginning to warm up to Caine, the other, more docile, assassin was to be his partner better start out right with him Fahim thought.

"So some sort of competition? Ugh," Fahim groaned, "how is it that I find this more nerve racking than being in constant danger of being killed?" Fahim stopped as he remembered the man that had given his life so that Fahim and his friends could live. "Well we better do good in this, no need to have Sire think any lower of us. Speaking of Sire, were you guys followed here?" Fahim became paranoid, yet again. When the others looked at him weird, he laughed, "Ah never mind, how do the other initiates look so far?" Fahim asked, eager to change the subject, and see how he stood among the other competitors.

“Wait, wat?” Caine looked down at the food. “This is Fahim’s food!?” Caine stopped eating immediately, but glanced over at Shahin. “Don’t act like your not hungry, I know you want some too.” I guess that’s enough food, Fahim needs it more anyway. Returning to the subject at hand, Caine turned angrily towards Shahin who just about gave all the information about the competition. “Well, too late to stop you now...O and we weren’t followed, except by Shilo here.”

The tattooed assassin waved Caine off obnoxiously. "Well whatever! Fahim needs this food." He shrugged, "I was just planning to get some from the monastery when we return later tonight. You can come with, if you want, I kinda already promised you I would show you around." He said kind of awkwardly. He wanted to set a good example towards the other and for some reason he felt the need to impress him.

Pushing that matter aside he turned to face Fahim once again, "OK! So you wanna know about the newbies, well let just take a moment to explain!" Shahin cleared his throat dramatically. "Ok, well, let's just say that we have quite a few new 'colorful' additions to the Brotherhood." He said using air quotes. "There is this one girl. Wolf's Bane I think," He said looking up at the ceiling, "and she TOTALLY has a thing for Sire." He tried holding back his laughter but silently seethed. Damn that Sire!! Wtf?! How does he get ladies when he doesn't ever try!? And then whenever I so much as look at a broad, they go all up in my faces with the slapping and the hitting...and the kicking...Nyeh! I tell you time after time young one...make eye contact. Once you can restrain your eyes to stay 'up' you can start the slow steps to building a healthy relationship. Shahin's thoughts dripped with sarcasm, Hsss...you're always such a killjoy...Oh, I didn't know that you enjoyed bashing yourself. Please, go ahead. Don't mind me. Grrr...I WASN'T bashing myself! I was happily mulling about how much Sire SUCKS!! Sigh...you're so immature... Shahin stopped arguing with himself to continue his discussion to Fahim.

"Annnd then we have this pair of twins. I don't really know their names or anything, but they don't look too friendly. Caine here had a little run in with them at the Inn." At the mention of the hooded assassin, Shahin jabbed his thumb in his direction before continuing, "I'm pretty sure one is albino..." Shahin said a little unsure of himself. "And Trav was at the Inn too, I didn't get to talk to him but he seemed to be interested in this red-haired guy. He was SUPER tall!!" Shahin said stretching his arm up above him in an overly exaggerated manner. But then again maybe not, as every other male in the Brotherhood was taller than him. This made Shahin pout a little before he sat back down in his seat. "Oh yeah! There was also a guy named Aaron, he's this little punk, I don't even know how he became an assassin! All he does is sit around playing with his little knife, trying to act tough and everything. He's like, 13 or something." Shahin concluded with a lazy wave of his hand. Grr...and yet Aaron is STILL taller than me!! Curse him!!

(Actually, I just can't get on during the weekdays, except like, after 5. My mom's laptop 'n stuff. xD)
William chuckled and muttered under his breath, "And taller then you.." He followed with a louder sigh, "So, are we all broke? I could really use a drink.." The Scot looked around and quieted himself, "And there's too many people here to steal a pint," William sighed, planting his face into the table.
"God damn."
